The Origin Story: From Passion to Placement

What began in 2013 as a personal journey to create the perfect finishing touch has evolved into a dedicated pillow studio at my home in Kalamazoo. I’ve spent years mastering the nuances of fine textiles and building relationships with premier global fabric manufacturers.

I started out (and remain) on Etsy.  This new storefront represents the next chapter: a boutique digital showroom created for the dweller who knows exactly what they want, and loves the thrill of styling it themselves.

The Trade-Only Look, Made Accessible

If you’ve ever flipped through an interior design magazine or browsed a luxury showroom, you know the impact of a perfectly tailored accent pillow. Traditionally, sourcing these exquisite fabrics and custom trims required hiring a professional interior designer.

But here, the rules are different.

All Therese Marie Designs, all pillow covers are made to order.  I've even taught my husband how to use a few of the simpler machines, so it's an all hands on deck affair in my basement studio, where we cut and sew every single piece.
